1. Eyebrow Embroidery (Semi-Tattoo)
Before Procedure
Prior to the Ombre Powder Brows procedure, the client should avoid:
- Alcohol
- Caffeine (to reduce bleeding)
- Not taking any blood thinning medications
- Post-procedure, the client should avoid (at least one week):
- Excessive sweating
- Water exposure
- Direct sunlight
- No make up on treated area
- Please refrain from touching, picking, or peeling the area that has been treated.
- Retinol and Vitamin A are closely related and it is recommended to stop using them for a month before the procedure.
After Procedure
- To remove excess lymph fluid after the procedure, gently pat the area with a moist wipe every hour or as often as possible throughout the day. This prevents the lymphatic fluids from hardening. Wait until the following morning to apply aftercare cream, allowing the wound to naturally close first.
- During the first 7 days, wash your eyebrows twice a day using water and a mild soap like Dial Soap, Cetaphil, Neutrogena, or QV. This removes bacteria, product buildup, oils, and dead skin. Use your fingertips to gently rub the area in a smooth motion for 10 seconds, then rinse thoroughly with water to ensure all soap is washed away. Pat dry with a clean tissue.
- Avoid cleansing products with acids or exfoliants.
- Once your eyebrows are completely dry, use a cotton swab to apply a small amount of aftercare cream and spread it evenly over the treated area.
- Avoid applying too much, as it can suffocate the skin and slow down healing. The cream should be barely noticeable.
- Never apply aftercare cream to a wet or damp tattoo.
- Always consult with your brow stylist.
