Eyebrow Henna
Before Procedure
In the initial 24 hours following the procedure, adhere to these guidelines:
- Avoid getting your eyebrows wet
- Stay away from sweat, steam, and heat
- Refrain from applying makeup in or around the brow area
- Protect your brows from direct sunlight
- Avoid using harsh skincare products or makeup removers on the treated area
- Do not use any products with fragrance on the area.
After Procedure
- For the next 24-48 hours, protect your brows from water, steam, and heat, similar to how lash lifts and extensions can affect henna. These treatments can cause the henna to fade earlier than desired, which is not ideal for your beautiful brows. The henna will leave a stain on your skin for approximately 4-7 days and then gradually fade. However, it will remain in your brow hairs for around 4-6 weeks.
- It's important to be cautious when using creams or moisturizers near your brows, especially anti-aging products. These products can penetrate the skin at the same level as the henna, leading to the henna being pushed out within about 2 days.
- Based on our experience with this specific henna product, we have observed that the more frequently you undergo henna application, the longer the skin staining will last. Some clients who visited us every 3 weeks reported that their skin staining lasted around 2 and a half weeks before fading after 9 months of regular appointments.
- To maintain your henna brows looking fabulous, we recommend scheduling appointments every 3 weeks. The more frequently we apply henna to the skin, the longer the skin staining will persist.
